Doctoral Grant from The Unit of Biostatistics fosters collaboration with researchers in epidemiology, clinical research, and biological, social, and basic sciences. The research interests span a wide range that includes quantile inference, computational statistics, meta-analysis, survival data analysis, genetic statistics, longitudinal data analysis, causal inference, and asymptotic inference. The unit is actively involved in the development and application of statistical methods that may help improve each and every step and thus contribute toward solving health problems.
The unit also strives to disseminate knowledge and culture of biostatistics domestically and internationally. Post-graduate research supervision, teaching, and presentations to statistical and non-statistical audiences are an essential part of its mission.
