2014 SYDNEY ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Sydney takes great pleasure in announcing the Sydney Achievers International Scholarships for new international students commencing at the University in 2014.

Up to 100 of these prestigious Scholarships will be offered in 2014 to high achieving, academically meritorious, international students, inviting them to enjoy the Sydney experience at one of the finest institutions of higher education in the world.

Benefits
AUD$10,000 each per annum, available for the CRICOS registered duration of a recipient's program of study, for any Undergraduate program offered at the University of Sydney (subject to the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic progress each year).

No living allowance is payable.

Hary and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Business Australia 2014 Scholarships, The University of New South Wales is providing a scholarship in business for full-time postgraduate coursework program (Masters or AGSM MBA) at the Australian School of Business in 2014. International students can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship of $26,680 is offered for duration of course on Hary and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Business Australia 2014 Scholarships.

The Scholarship will be applied against tuition fees in equal installments. Application should be submitted till November 30, 2013.

Scholarship Description:

The Hary and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo Scholarship in Business was established to encourage and support an international student to undertake full-time postgraduate coursework. The Scholarship will be applied against tuition fees in equal instalments across the duration of the full-time postgraduate coursework (Masters or AGSM MBA) program based on the minimum duration of the program undertaken.

PhD Scholarships in Computer Science and IT at RMIT University in Australia

PhD Scholarships 2013-2014 in The School of Computer Science  and IT is offering nine PhD scholarships to high achieving international and domestic students in various areas of research. Applicants must have an honors/master degree in the area of Computer Science or related disciplines and meet RMIT's PhD entry requirements. Scholarships are available valued at up to $25,000 per annum for three years (no extension possible). 

The application deadline is 30 September 2013.

Academic Scholarships at International School of Western Australia

Newest 2014 Scholarships from The Board of the International School of Western Australia (ISWA) offers academic scholarships in Australia. Applicants must intend to study either the International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced Placement programs and cannot be currently enrolled at International School of Western Australia. Both Australian and international students are eligible to apply. International students must reside with a parent/guardian in Perth for the duration of the scholarship. Curtin Canning College Science International Students Bursary 2011, Australia

The Curtin Canning College Science International Bursary is available to international students enrolling at Curtin University in 2011 who have demonstrated high-level academic achievement in their studies at Canning College, and obtained an ATAR (TER) of at least 96 or equivalent in 2010.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and choosing an eligible Undergraduate Science degree at Curtin as 1st preference through TISC.

Eligibility:
  • Be a Canning College student in 2010
  • Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)
  • Have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible Science undergraduate course at Curtin University in 2011 (see applicant information document for the list of eligible courses)
  • Commencing the first year of study at Curtin University, in an eligible course in 2011
  • Have selected Curtin University through TISC as a first preference to undertake an eligible Science undergraduate degree;
  • Receive an ATAR (TER) or equivalent of at least 96.

    PhD Scholarships 2010 Australia. Applications are being sought for 1 full PhD scholarship at APAI rate ($ 26,669 p.a.) at Griffith University to work on an exciting and industry-oriented ARC Linkage Project- Ecosystem restoration of bauxite-processing residue disposal areas- in close collaboration with Alcoa Australia Ltd and Lincoln University.

    Australiais one of the worlds largest alumina producers, but sustainable rehabilitation of bauxite-processing residue storage areas (RSAs) is problematic due to the inherently hostile characteristics of residue materials. 


    This project will investigate important biogeochemical cycling processes of nitrogen, phosphorus and carbon and develop appropriate fertilisation strategies for successful ecosystem restoration of RSAs.PhD Scholarships 2010 Australia

    The project will be based at Griffith University, Nathan Campus in Brisbane, with the majority of field work being undertaken at Alcoas Western Australia Refineries (Kwinana, Pinjarra or Wagerup).

    This scholarship is open to Australian citizens and overseas applicants with an Honours degree (1 or 2A) or equivalent in the fields of agriculture, environmental chemistry, soil biochemistry or plant biology. The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr CR Chen, Prof ZH Xu (GU), Dr IR Phillips (Alcoa) and Prof LM Condron (Lincoln).

    International Doctoral Research Scholarships

    Latest Scholarships on March 2010,New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS) are open to all international students who meet the eligibility criteria.

    NZIDRS scholarships include:
    full tuition fees for three years of full-time doctoral study
    NZ$20,500 per annum living allowance (NZ$1708.33 per month).
    up to NZ$600 annual health insurance allowance
    NZ$2000 (across 3 year tenure) travel allowance. This is intended to be used for conference attendance and field research
    NZ$800 (across 3 year tenure) book and thesis allowance
    NZ$500 one-off establishment allowance. Only to be paid to those students who are travelling to NZ specifically to take up the NZIDRS. No student already located in NZ is eligible to receive this amount.
    Additional funds are not available to support accompanying dependants.

They are intended for those who are already leaders or have the potential to assume leadership roles that can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes.

    The Australian Leadership Awards program comprises Scholarships and Fellowships. ALA Fellowships are for short term study, research and professional attachment programs in Australia delivered by Australian organisations.
    ALA Fellowships complement the longer term ALA Scholarships providing opportunities to senior officials and mid-career professional who cannot leave their positions for extended periods.
