Post Doctoral in EEG/fMRI in Non-Invasive Neurostimulation lab in Vancouver

The NINET lab seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to perform independent research in the area of depression and schizophrenia. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for the design and evaluation of experiments, development of new ideas that promote current research as well as performing quantitative data analysis in a multi-disciplinary team setting. 

Candidates must have a passionate enthusiasm for research and a strong background in one of the following fields: computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, mathematics/statistics/machine learning or related-fields. He/she should also possess the ability to take the initiative, work independently and be motivated to work in a highly collaborative research environment, and be able to demonstrate creativity, technical independence and excellent communication skills.

In 2005, Seymour Schulich donated $25 million to the University of Calgary, the largest donation ever received by the U of C. This gift established the Schulich School of Engineering (formerly the Faculty of Engineering) and 102 scholarships for engineering students.

    CEMF UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN IN ENGINEERING

    APPLICATION INFORMATION AND CRITERIA

    The Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation was founded in 1990 to develop scholarship and award programs that encourage women to choose engineering as a career to honour the memory of the 14 women at École Polytechnique whose contributions to Canada ended on December 6, 1989.
    Each year CEMF offers up to five $5,000 Undergraduate Engineering Scholarships to young women across Canada who are proven leaders, active in their community and volunteer work, and act as mentors to other young women to encourage them to pursue a career in engineering. 

    These scholarships are not based on academic achievement.
    Applicants must be female engineering students at the undergraduate level enrolled fulltime in an accredited engineering program at a Canadian university. One scholarship may be awarded in each of the regions of British Columbia, Prairies, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic.

    RDC Ocean Industries Research Awards

    The RDC Ocean Industries Research Awards represent both a reward for academic excellence and a strategic investment in research expertise. The awards target students who are interested in pursuing higher education, industry-relevant research and future employment in Newfoundland and Labrador's ocean industries, including offshore petroleum, ocean engineering, fisheries and aquaculture, and marine science.
